Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Deputy Manager – Networks to join our IT Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in managing and maintaining enterprise networks using Fortinet, H3C, Cisco technologies, and a strong grasp of network topologies and design. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to ensure stability, integrity, and security of in-house and remote network services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, manage, and optimize enterprise network infrastructure across multiple locations.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network hardware including Fortinet firewalls, H3C switches/routers, Cisco routers/switches, and wireless solutions.
- Develop and manage network architecture, including LAN/WAN, VLANs, VPNs, MPLS, and SD-WAN.
- Monitor network performance, perform regular health checks, and address latency or downtime issues proactively.
- Implement network security best practices, including firewall policies, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), access control, and vulnerability remediation.
- Lead network-related projects including expansions, migrations, upgrades, and new site rollouts.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely resolution of issues and smooth service delivery.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network assets, topology diagrams, and change management logs.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for complex network issues and escalate as required.
- Conduct regular network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Train and guide junior team members and ensure adherence to network standards and policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network administration.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN, NAC, DNS/DHCP, and FSSO solutions.
- Good understanding of ITIL-based change management processes.
Certifications (Preferred):
- Fortinet NSE3 or higher
- Cisco CCNP or CCNA (at minimum)
- H3CSE / H3CNE (a plus)
- ITIL Foundation (a plus)
